Out of curiosity, what are those things you disliked that kept you from rating it higher?

I didn't like how overtly sexual it got in regards to Satsuki and her mom. There was a scene earlier in the series that was basically her mom getting her off and then when Satsuki was captured, her mom like... sexually spanked her? I get the idea that her mom is not really "human" anymore but ick. Made me feel uncomfortable. Also her right hand helper, Nui Harime? Hated her. Hated every second of her. Especially with the revelation that Ryuko is also made of life-fibers it makes her universe-breaking powers make even less sense.

That anime is straight up nuts sometimes and there are things I dislike about it, but it has a style all its own and I appreciate what it did. 8/10

And Bloodborne, slain. What an experience! I'm not exactly sure WTF was going on. Seems that Cthulu aliens basically descended upon this world, some people tried to fight it while others tried to harness the powers, while even others tried to basically BECOME a Cthulu alien.

Not exactly sure if I'm someone "special" or not in this world or if I just happened to be the hunter who was good enough to do what needed to be done. Did I turn into a weird little monster at the end that the Doll was holding? That seems like a shitty reward for beating the game. XD

I was raised Christian and I realized at 11 that I didn't have any faith in anything being taught to me.

I went online and started researching other religious beliefs and came to the conclusion that religion is inherently just a method to explain what we don't currently understand and it is nonsensical to me to have faith in any of them.

You believe in the Catholic God and that's fine. You believe in the Sun God Ra and you're seen as a loon. One is acceptable due to the fact what it explains is not yet explained by science while the other... I mean, there is no sun God. We basically know how the sun works. So it is ridiculous to believe there is some figure beyond us that controls the sun.

I went through my times of being an asshole about it and trying to "educate" people but now I just talk with people if they want to and try not to be judgemental. I do call out Bible literalists cause that shit is dangerous and ridiculous.

It is on HBO Max at the same time. It is hard to really guage how much that impacts films and how much they will bring in.
